Helen Waters is a native of Savannah. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Agnes Scott College and a graduate degree in History from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Helen has been with The Matthew Reardon Center since 1999. Previously, she was a Retail Loan Officer employed in the banking industry in branch management.

Jennifer McGee holds an undergraduate degree in Education, majoring in Speech Correction and a graduate degree in Psychology. She is currently working towards a Ed.D in Counseling Psychology, as well as the necessary coursework for her BCBA. She has worked with families and children with special needs in a variety of settings for over 12 years. She is the mother of 4 children, 3 of whom have a diagnosis of autism. She often shares her experiences as professional and a parent in workshops and conferences across the state.

Maranda Porter is the Outreach Coordinator and Behavior Consultant for the Matthew Reardon Center. She received her Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University in May 2004 in Child Development, her Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in July 2009 in Clinical Psychology, and completed the behavior analysis course sequence from the University of North Texas in December 2007. She has received countless numbers of supervision hours in Behavior Analysis from Dr. Dana Trahant Ph.D., BCBA from the Marcus Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, Maranda is pending board certification for her BCABA.

Robert Irving, Lead Teacher

Rober Irving is the Lead Teacher for the upper class. He received his Bachelor's Degree from AASU in 1997, and is a certified teacher in the State of Georgia. Originally from California, Robert served in the military for 14 years before entering the field of education. He has taught in public schools and at The Matthew Reardon Center for the last 10 years.

Brian Pierce, Lead Teacher

Brian Pierce has been a Certified Special Education Teacher since 1998. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. Brian has been the lead teacher for the younger classroom since 2006. He also holds certification as a Special Olympics Coach. Brian is happily married and enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids, and his Border Collies.

Susan Lindsey, Para-Professional

Susan Lindsey is the Para-Professional for the younger class. She is originally from Illinois and has been in the Savannah area for 14 years. She has taught children with special needs in Germany, Texas, and Georgia and also operated her own home daycare program. She has had training in The Listening Program, CPI, ABA therapy, and the TEACCH Program.

Jo-Anna Hint is a Para-Professional in the upper class. She is currently working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education at AASU. She joined the MRC staff in 2008. She has been trained in ABA therapy and CPI. She enjoys helping her students reach their fullest potential. |
